Do you remember where you were 13 years ago today? I do.
I was saying "I do" to this fella. And yes, in case you were wondering, I was a child bride. This is the South after all. Just kidding. But I was 24. Married my college sweetie. Good choice if I do say so myself.
We're still having fun. Better yet, he lets me decorate according to my whims. Thanks, Matt for a wonderful 13 years, and here's to many more. I love you!
Hmmm...where was I 13 years ago?? Oh yes, I was in Memphis wearing a busted bridesmaid dress, biker shorts, Lauren's black capezios, and a few fresh bruises...I still panic at the sight of a steep flight of stairs!!! Love to you both on your lucky 13!!! XXOO
I don't remember any of what Arrione is talking about. I do remember tripping the light fantastic with Matt's uncle and Jay smearing his face with the chocolate fondue. The Junior League house doesn't do wedding receptions anymore - BTW. Kinda sad. It was a beautiful wedding and reception, of course! Happy anniversary!
Happy Anniversary!! That picture is great!! And my god you were a child bride! Don't tell anyone but I was 32 when I got married. And you know the South, my great aunt kept calling me an old maid! Ha! I was just waitng for the right guy.
What a sweet photo! July 4th weekend is the anniversary of when I met my husband (17 years ago)...but this September will be our 14 year anniversary...so we are married 13 years, just like you! Lucky 13.
happy anniversary!

ReplyDeleteHappy anniversary! And any man who lets you take the decorating driver's seat is a smart man indeed.
