My husband recently returned from one of his diving trips, and this time instead of bringing me back a souvenir he brought home something much more important - inspiration through his beautiful
photographs. This trip focused on the corals and teeny, tiny little creatures that can barely be seen with the naked eye, but with the help of his macro lens, they explode with color and texture. Words aren't really necessary. Just enjoy the color combinations, textures and patterns only Mother Nature could create.
There are so many more images that you can see on his blog
Making It Up As I Go. I hope you've been as inspired as I have.
That first one is especially beautiful. He should offer a few of these as fabrics and/or wallpaper!

Gorgeous! Love the first and last ones best. I can see the last one looking great blown up and hanging above a fireplace or sofa!
ReplyDeleteIn all seriousness, if you said that you picked these photos from National Geographic, I would believe you. Your husband is such a talent--and it's crazy to know that photography isn't even his day job.
ReplyDeleteAre you planning on blowing these up and framing them? How cool would that be!
You REALLY should consider having some of these put on canvas, or otherwise made into coolness for your casa.
ReplyDeleteThe first one is INsane!
