It immediately reminded me of a favorite photo from Domino (not the decor, just the table):
The Wisteria version is obviously much smaller in scale, but still pretty similar in style.
At $799, it's a bit out of my budget, but a girl can dream. I was mainly excited to see another lucite coffee/cocktail table (I never know the difference, I guess it basically boils down to what beverage you'd rather set on your table) option offered through an online/catalog retailer. Despite the proliferation of lucite pieces in design publications, I've found very few available for purchase.
There's always been the CB2 peekaboo coffee table for a much more reasonable $249, but it's quite a bit smaller too.
I always thought it would be too low for my sofa and furniture. But I love the look of it.
One thing I love about lucite is how it adapts to different environments. It looks just as at home in edgy interiors as it does in more traditional ones. It's the perfect chameleon.
Okay, so I'm "clearly" (ha, my cleverness knows no bounds) crazy about lucite. Or maybe I'm just plain crazy.

I couldn't agree more - lucite is so versatile and I don't know why I love it so! I love wisteria's acrylic side table!
You know, Kathy...if you really want one I am betting you could call around to a couple of plastic fabrication shops in your area and someone would make one just for you!! I was in that business for years and given that the economy is so rough there are probably a few shops looking for work!!
I love lucite too!! And that picture from Domino makes me happy!!
yeah it's all fun and games until you walk into one of them... damn invisible chair!!
Love it! Are you going to get one? I think I have to get that CB2 one. Yep, decided right here that I am saving up!
Lucite definitely adds some funk to a space. I like it! Go get that coffee table. :)
So do you think that's what Wonder Woman's plane was made of? I jest. I love the coffee table, too! It says "Look at me but don't see me." Take Icchic's advice and see if you can get it made. It is so you!
I love lucite as well and I have many crazy obsessions that know one ever understands! I also like the large pillows you have shown. You may like this http://www.reiter8.com/ they use old sailboat sails to make pillows..pretty cool!
great blog!

Lucite is a new favorite of mine also! I especially love the photo with the yellow sofa - wonderful!
Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. I don't really need a coffee table right now, I just like to dream of new furniture and see what my options are in case I want to change my look in the future. Plus, my husband would just run into it and curse like he does when he walks into my "invisible" (Louis Ghost) chair!
That Wisteria table is pretty fabulous!
I know you posted this last year, but I am still hankering for that Wisteria coffee table. Rumor has it that it might be in their catalog again in the near future. Fingers and toes all crossed.
