Love Me Knot

Today I ran some errands with my daughter who is currently on spring break. I think she was my lucky charm because look what I found while out with her . . .
Forgive the weird shade on the lamp. It needs to be replaced. Black maybe?
This huge knot mirror from Kirkland's, of all places. Now, let me back up and share the background on this. A couple of months ago, I spied this mirror on Aesthetic Oiseau. I made a mental note that I should scout out our local store. No luck. The only thing I got was a noseful of potpourri (I think they pump it in through the air system). Then, I saw it again on Angela's blog and was once again reminded of how I longed for it.
Angela's mirror.
Today, we were in the neighborhood of our local Kirkland's, so I thought, why not give it another shot? After showing a very nice saleslady the actual photo from Angela's blog on my phone, she said, "Oh, I think we've got that in the Clearance section." No sweeter words were ever spoken. I got the mirror for just over $60. What I didn't realize was how huge it is (40 inches wide), but I still think it works in the entry. Goes with my new black door.
So, what do you think? Is it a keeper? They said I could return it even though it was on clearance. See my chair? That's a discussion for another post.

Keeper all the way! Goes great with your black door. I would grab one of these mirrors myself if I had a space for it. What a great mirror for a great price.

Kirkland's - WHAAAA?! I haven't stepped foot in one of their stores since 1993. It may be time to rethink that.

I love everything about that first picture. The lamp is gorgeous, as is the chest and, of course, the mirror. A very nice find!

A huge dope mirror for crackhead prices at Kirklins?? Woooo that's like finding Prada crap at Wal-mart. The main reason I dislike that store is because of that damn potpourri. KEEP.

What is this mystical place called Kirkland's of which everyone speaks? I have never been to this place but ADORE this lamp. Keep it, keep it, keep it (I'm starting a chant, don't mind me)!

You know I had a Kirklands-free shopping policy but that mirror could bring me back. Who knew? And that chair? Dying...

I love the mirror, definitely a keeper!

What is up with that smell in there? I almost can't bear it, but now because of your mirror, I may have to don the oxygen mask and go back in!

So the design gods smiled down on you at Kirklands, eh? Hooray!!! There is nothing like the joy of finding something you were looking for...and clearance, too! You lucky girl you.

I likes it in your entry.

Oh, stinky, stinky Kirkland's, you are full of surprises!

The mirror looks fabulous in your entry. I saw it over at Angela's as well and can't believe it's from Kirkland's. Crazy! It's a definite keeper.

By the way, I love that fabric on your chair. It's wonderfully bold and graphic. I have a sofa upholstered in the same Marimekko print.

Hi, first time visiting. I love your entry way and the mirror works perfectly. I've seen it online but didn't realize it was that large, it's a great addition for you.
