A pair of mid-century neoclassical style brass sconces. They are in need of some love as they've been stored in a barn (there are lots of barns around here), but I just love them. In fact, I'm scheduled to go see/get them tomorrow. The problem? My husband. He doesn't think I/we need them. Need? Of course, we don't need them. When is "need" really relevant in the realm of decorating? We're dealing in a land of wants here, aren't we? Wow. I sound very materialistic and shallow now, I realize. And I swear I'm not. Most of the time.
So, please, dear readers, help me make my "point" to my husband. These are cool, right? And my 40th birthday is next month. Just saying.

Just tell him if he doesn't let you get them I will punch myself repeatedly in the throat. Can he live with that on his conscious? Hmmmm.....
I saw these a few weeks ago and debated them, but have no where to put them:/...There were some similar ones on OKL a while back and I'm sure way more than what these people are asking...so you're getting a "deal" see if that works!
I love them! And they have arrows, guys like arrows. The hubs should thumbs up these. You can never have too many light sources around the house right? And these are for candles. So if the power goes out, you will still have a light source thanks to your smart decision to get the sconces. Really you are buying those for the safety of your family.
Hold on and I will email you a picture of my nearly identical sconces (that my husband bought me for Xmas, I might add).
