Procrastination

While I should have been cleaning my house today, I decided to waste some time on Craigslist. I've actually sold some things on CL recently, but haven't looked at what's available to buy. You truly never know what you'll find. Like this . . .
A faux elephant tusk table with brass caps. I knew I had spotted something similar before, so, of course, I checked 1st Dibs. They have a similar console table available for a mere $7,500 . . .
And, here's one I found in the Atlantis Home blog lady's home . . .

It is definitely a unique look. Can't decide if I like it or not. Hmm. The Craigslist table is actually offered as a set with the cool mirrored credenza, mirrored planter and six chairs for $2,000. A little pricey for Craigslist, but probably a decent deal if this is your particular style. I can never understand why people won't sell items separately. Someone might like the mirrored credenza even if the tusk table isn't their thing.
Pretty
Some other Nashville CL finds . . .
Love the shape of this console table. Would be great in an entry or behind a sofa. Paint it the color of your choice.

This huge vintage Moroccan rug is a great deal ($200), especially considering it's 10'x20'.
There were also some nice side/occasional tables . . .
We had these same faux bamboo and glass side tables growing up. They're still in my parents' house.
Have you procrastinated by trolling through Craiglist lately? Am I the only one who does this?

I am a "troller" too...but not for home decor. I am always on the look out for my perfect 1980s Volvo station wagon!

Funny, I've cut out the Craigslist searching as of late, but it seems like Nashville has some good offerings.

I hate sets too. Stoopid.

I'm trolling craigslist, but for other people. And I'm not finding nearly the quality that you are!

I've been searching craigslist DAILY. But I'm looking for a few pieces for clients, so that's my excuse. :)
Luckily I haven't found anything I couldn't live without--I really should not be shopping for myself right about now!

I want that rug...perfect size. I'm not kidding. Wish I lived there today. Do you think they'd ship??

You always find the best stuff.

I stalk CL everyday! You have to when you're looking for the perfect thing on a budget. But of course now that i'm broke from buying gifts I find the perfect credenza in price range, go figure!

Kathy, I do love that table! I look on the Chatt CL all the time - its usually crap. Nashville is way more sophisticated!! Have a fab weekend girl, and get back to work!

That's it -- I'm moving to Nashvegas. The Austin craig sucks balls.

Seriously, Nashville's Craig sucks most of the time too. The horn table is actually in Huntsville, AL of all places, but Nashville is probably one of the biggest cities nearby - that or Birmingham (they may have posted it in both). I'm so tempted by all these things, but alas must be sensible right now. Uggh.

You found some fabulous stuff. I swear the Craigslist here sucks or maybe I just don't know how to search. I heart that mirrored console table!

You must have some mad CL skills because I never find anything that cool! On second thought, I did find an amazing headboard for $35 bucks, but after we got it home we realized that teenagers had carved love notes all over it. Awesome. :)

My middle name is procrastination. Really, it is. And craigslist is at the top of my vice list. These are some amazing finds, Kathy. So much so that I am considering making myself comfortable in your guest room and making a trip to snag all this awesomeness. Not that you invited me over, or anything. ;0)

Wow, why is it my craigslist never has awesome things like that?!
